Hello! 👋
I’m Tracy Stuntz, and I’ve been the Instructional Designer at Clovis College since Fall 2016. Before coming to Clovis, I worked as an instructional designer at Fresno State and have previously taught part-time in communication across SCCCD and at Fresno State. Teaching has always been a big part of who I am, and I love being in a role where I can combine that background with instructional design to support faculty.
I earned my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Fresno State, where my dissertation looked at how course design impacts students’ self-regulated learning behaviors (an instructional strategy that focuses on how learners can manage their learning through setting goals and continuously monitoring their progress). I also hold an MS in Instructional Design from Cal State Fullerton and an MA in Communication from Fresno State.
At Clovis, I work with faculty on a wide range of teaching and learning needs, including:
I also offer support with instructional technology like:
In addition, I regularly provide workshops and training sessions for faculty on course design, accessibility, technology tools, and teaching strategies. These are great opportunities to try out new ideas, share practices, and connect with colleagues.
If you’d like to connect, you can reach me anytime at tracy.stuntz@cloviscollege.edu or schedule a 1:1 meeting here: [Meeting with Tracy].
