Hi!
I’m Diana Chandara, and my pronouns are she/her. Beginning Spring 2025, I am the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator at Clovis Community College. I teach Ethnic Studies and Asian American Studies. I am from the 559 and am grateful to serve the Fresno/Clovis area.
I hold a B.A. in Anthropology, with a minor in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. Not wanting to leave the Bay Area quite yet, I went on to San Francisco State University for an M.A. in Equity and Social Justice Education. I couldn’t get enough of being a student and am currently a PhD Candidate in Culture and Teaching at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My dissertation centers Lao and Cambodian American girls and how they reframe feminism while sustaining cultural identities.
