Teaching online courses often requires to approach their courses in a way that is different than face-to-face. We often have to come up with new ways of “teaching” a concept for our online courses since we often can’t replicate faculty an activity exactly the same way in an online environment. In addition, we students are not present to ask questions or listen to instructions in the same way, so it requires instructors to much more transparent and clear about the relationship between objectives, activities, and assessments. This session will explain the peer course review process. How can we as faculty be an objective observer? In peer course reviews, our goal is not to evaluate content, but we look at each other’s courses to see how we can be more effective at delivering content.
