When writing business papers or projects, there is no "official" citation style that is used. However, the three most commonly used are Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style), Modern Language Association Handbook (MLA style), and Chicago Manual of Style (Chicago style). Generally speaking, the sciences and social sciences tend to use the APA or Chicago style while the humanities will often use MLA style. Whichever style you choose to write with, remember to use it consistently throughout your paper/projects.
