Whether you are taking a class on campus or online, students have access to many library services. We have over 15,000 items available to check out in our library and much more available to us through our borrowing agreements with our SCCCD colleges.
Students can check out books from us as well the other State Center libraries. If you are unable to find a specific item at our libraries, email us for Interlibrary Loan options or fill out a request. Loan periods are below for CCC items; items from other campuses may have other loan periods.
Students are able to view and read most eBooks at any time anywhere they have Internet access. No checkouts are required, unless they are loans from our Libby collection. EBook collections can be found on the library's database page or search for them using the library catalog.

In the library, students will find nearly two dozen PC and Macs with various popular apps to use.
Printing and copying is available in the library. We use the Papercut printing system, where students can load money onto their virtual student accounts using their ID and Canvas/Email password to pay for prints and copies. The library accepts cash, coin, and credit/debit card payments. More detailed instructions on how to print can be found in our printing FAQ page. Laptop and mobile printing help can be found on the Papercut help page.
WiFi is available to students everywhere on campus. Once logged in, students will be able to access resources such as our databases without having to log in. Students must connect to the student WiFi to print from laptops, phones, and tablets.
Students can make an appointment to meet with a librarian for one-on-one research assistance. Fill out an appointment request form with information about your assignment and research goals and we'll contact you to confirm. Appointments are 30 minutes long. Please book your appointment at least two business days in advance.
During library open hours, students can drop in and for research help from a librarian - no appointment needed! Librarians will help students formulate and narrow down topics, conduct research in the databases, find credible resources, help with proper citation, and more!
