Digital Humanities is an academic field concerned with the application of computational tools and methods to traditional Humanities disciplines such as literature, history, and philosophy. Digital Humanities projects and tools are frequently multidisciplinary in scope, combining methods drawn from various fields of study to create more comprehensive "pictures" of historical events, cultures, or social change.
